Where students can make a difference
Getting involved with the Northwest Prep at Piner-Olivet School student council allows students to have a say in what activities and events are planned during the school year. Members of the council also help organize student fundraisers and perform community service. Council members are elected yearly by their classmates.
Through these activities and more, members of the council gain valuable experience in student government and become more responsible, active members of the Northwest Prep at Piner-Olivet School community.
Members of the student council are expected to:
- Attend regular council meetings
- Meet with their peers to receive feedback and hear student ideas and concerns
- Volunteer at special events
- Serve as role models to other students

Admission: tickets $5 DEC 7th-DEC 16th, then ticket prices rise to $6, and finally...

Tickets on sale December 7th 2009 through December 16th 2009
Student Council will having a Dance, them is black and white. meaning the dress attire for the dance will be black and white, shades of gray are included.
Music submitions due Tuesday December 11th for Mr. Muelrath to screen the music before the dance on December 18th.
You can mail MP3s to nwpstudentcouncil@gmail.com please include your full name and homeroom teacher. Please no viruses!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! the viruses could potentially ruin the computers at school and the computers of people downloading the music at home.
Music will be streamed through iTunes DJ to allow those with the "remote" app on their "iPod Touch" and "iPhone", to request/vote the songs being played up on the play list.
We are hammering out the rules and possible guest policies and forms the weeks prior to the event. these will be available on this page for printing. these will be similar or the same policies as other high school dances.
