Helping students succeed
Our excellent staff has a wide spectrum of their personal life experiences and training to draw advice from which to provide for students in nearly any situation. It is not always reading, writing and arithmetic; sometimes it is just a shoulder to lean upon, an ear to listen or the right word to lift the weary spirit.
Students don’t always learn at the same pace, and it isn’t uncommon for a student to fall behind or struggle at some point in their academic career. Northwest Prep at Piner-Olivet School cares about the well-being of every student and provides access to several services—including tutoring, mentoring, and counseling services—to help each student achieve to his or her highest potential. We encourage parents and students to voice their concerns and needs so we can work together to meet the needs of the student.

When we might not have all the answers at NWP, as Abraham Lincoln said we can point to resources outside our campus. For those OTHER situations check 211 as a county guide which helps you find assistance or advice. If you need help finding which agency to talk to ask 211 OR if you have skills or experiences which friends come to you for, try 211 as an outlet to get help to new friends.
